Solar panels are an increasingly popular and practical option for powering your Camper, Motorhome or Yacht. When it comes to choosing the right solar panel, there are two main types to consider: rigid and flexible. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages, and the choice ultimately depends on your specific needs and preferences.

Rigid solar panels, also known as crystalline silicon panels, are the most common type of solar panel on the market. They are made up of a series of interconnected cells, and the entire panel is housed in a rigid aluminum frame. 

Flexible solar panels, also known as thin-film solar panels, are a newer and less common type of solar panel. They are made up of thin, flexible layers of material, such as plastic or metal.
