Models are now available offering both USB A and C connections, including Single and Double A as well as Single C and a combined Dual A & C output version.
As well as standard rear fit version, all models are also available in front fit versions. This is a popular option for when rear space access is limited, and also allows for quick removal and replacement if required. Ingress protection is to IP30 as standard. However, the PVPWp versions retain the slimline design and offer enhanced protection to IP65 (not connectors). The ruggedised PV65R versions which are also IP65 (not connectors), offer additional transient protection and are particularly suitable in more demanding environments.
Output power performance has also been enhanced. As well as charging both Apple and Android mobile phones, the USB C models offer higher current outputs for limited charge assistance on tablets and laptops.
Standard versions require only 20mm (typical) rear space and can easily be installed in bus and coach seat backs, walls and dashboards. A series of installation pod designs enable retrofit options for underseat, table and wall mounting.

The AMT12-2 has many names Trickle Charger, Battery Maintainer, Battery Saver, Reverse Charger, Top Up Charger, Battery Equaliser, Battery to Battery trickle charger and its purpose is to keep a Source / Vehicle Battery charged & protected from damage during prolonged periods of Vehicle, Boat & Motorhome inactivity or storage. The charger feeds a low current into the Source Battery to compensate for self discharge, alarm & tracker loads while ensuring the charge of the Auxiliary / Leisure Battery is maintained.
In the ideal scenario a Solar Charger or Mains Charger is attached to an Auxiliary / Leisure Battery to protect it from damage during a period of inactivity . The Trickle Charger draws a small current off to maintain the Vehicle / Source Battery.
The Trickle Charger also feeds charge from the Auxiliary Battery to the Vehicle Battery until they reach 11.5V and 11.7V respectively ensuring that both Batteries are kept as healthy as possible even if no Solar Charger or Main Charger is present. For Lithium batteries the voltage thresholds for this function are set at 1V so 11.5V and 12.5V are the minimum operating voltages .
The unit has 8 User selected programmes and so is suitable for use with any Auxiliary Battery Charging System including a simple Voltage Sensing Relay and a Battery to Battery Charger. A ABB-007 bluetooth module allows the unit to be configured to specific user settings to cater for different battery types and specific user requirements . All that is required is to download the app from the Apple store or google play and make the desired settings changes
It does not matter the Make or Type of Charger the AMT12-2 will Charge the Vehicle Battery from the Leisure Battery . The clever software means it is compatible with conventional Alternator Vehicles, the latest Stop / Start & Euro 5/6 & Regenerative Braking Technologies.

Alarms include high and low voltage, high current, and high and low frequency. Bilge & Tank Monitoring The VSM has two inputs that can be configured as a bilge or tank monitor. When configured as a bilge input, monitoring functions include pump active, cycle count in the last 24-hours, average cycles in a typical 24-hour period, and total cycles. High alarms can be set for both the minutes of run time in the last hour as well as the number or cycle counts in the last 24-hours. When configured as a tank input, tank status can be represented in both capacity (gallons or liters) or as a percentage of capacity. Custom tank shapes can be auto-calibrated or programmed. Both high and low level alarms can be set for all tanks. NMEA 2000 certified and uses standard connectors. This allows a single network backbone to be installed for multiple NMEA 2000 devices. The M2 VSM can share certain monitoring functions with other NMEA 2000 compliant screens, such as CZone Displays Touch 5 ; Touch 10.
