Kit Components and Their Roles

Victron Cerbo GX
The Cerbo GX is the communication and control hub of your energy system. It integrates with inverters, batteries, solar charge controllers, and other system components to provide live data and remote management capabilities. With multiple input and output connections—including VE.Direct, VE.Bus, CAN-bus, and USB—the Cerbo GX enables you to monitor battery state of charge, power consumption, solar generation, and more. It also allows for remote access and control via the Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal, so you can manage your system from anywhere in the world.

Colour Touch Screen 50 (GX Touch 50)
The GX Touch 50 is a sleek, waterproof 5-inch touchscreen display that connects directly to the Cerbo GX. It provides a clear, real-time overview of your entire system and allows you to adjust settings instantly. Its modern, slim design and simple installation make it easy to create a clean, professional dashboard for your power setup.

Wall Mount SmartShunt 500A
The SmartShunt 500A is a high-precision battery monitor that measures current, voltage, and battery state of charge. It communicates with the Cerbo GX via VE.Direct, delivering accurate battery data for optimal system management. The SmartShunt also features Bluetooth and can monitor a second battery, midpoint, or temperature sensor, making it a versatile addition for detailed energy tracking.

3 x 5m VE.Direct Cables
These cables provide reliable, high-quality data connections between the Cerbo GX, SmartShunt, and other compatible Victron devices. VE.Direct cables ensure seamless communication and data transfer, allowing your system components to work together efficiently.

1 x 5m RJ45 Cable
The RJ45 cable is used to connect VE.Bus or VE.Can devices—such as inverters or other GX components—to the Cerbo GX. This cable ensures stable, high-speed communication for system integration and control.

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Expedited delivery can be selected at the checkout, if your order is placed before 1pm we will pick, pack & despatch the same day and send it to you on a courier 24hr service.

Domestic Shipping Rates

We offer flat rate shipping to the UK 

In-store pickup

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 business day1. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

International Shipping

We currently do not offer international shipping.

How do I check the status of my order?

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

If you haven’t received your order within 1 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at sales@vanjunkies.co.uk with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 14 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. 

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at sales@vanjunkies.co.uk with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
